In our last blog we highlighted 3 movies that are guaranteed to give you a fully immersive, at-home cinematic experience. In this post, we wanted to add a few additional titles to that list.
Gangs of New York (2000) / Miramax: According to the official film synopsis, As waves of immigrants swell the population of New York, lawlessness and corruption thrive in lower Manhattan’s Five Points section. Iron Man (2008) / Marvel Studios: Oscar® nominee Robert Downey, Jr. stars as Tony Stark/Iron Man in the story of a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon. Instead, using his intelligence and ingenuity, Tony builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. When he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications, he dons his powerful armor and vows to protect the world as Iron Man. According to Marvel Studios, Iron Man is the first movie in the 22-movie Avengers series.
Creed (2015)/ Warner Brothers: Michael B. Jordan plays Adonis Johnson, some of the world-famous heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, who died before he was born. With boxing in his blood, Adonis heads to o Philadelphia, the site of Apollo’s legendary match with Rocky Balboa. Adonis tracks down Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) and asks him to be his trainer. Seeing in Adonis the determination he had known in Apollo, Rocky trains the young fighter, even as the former champ is battling an even deadlier opponent. Creed
Black Panther (2018)/ Marvel Studios: “Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king.
