Pre Construction

Building a new home? Don’t forget Audio/Visual Planning!

The pre-construction phase of your new home is the perfect time to plan your home’s automation!

Not sure where to get started? Here are a few steps to show you how to design your AV systems before you build or remodel.
  1. Decide where you want your TVs, speakers, and network. Waiting until your house is move-in ready will limit your options. If you plan with Magical Home Theaters before construction starts, you can choose the perfect locations for all your devices. Schedule a showroom appointment to help visualize all your audio and video options for your new home.
  2. The power supply…indoor and outdoor mounted TVs, projectors, and equipment locations need power. Work with our team early on to help identify these locations.
  3. Decide where your control center will go. Remember, you’ll need adequate space to house the control equipment. Our experts can help determine the best location.
  4. Pre-wiring is key! Before walls go up, running the wire correctly and precisely matters!
  5. If you want whole-home audio, be sure to add the pre-construction brackets for the ceiling speakers. These brackets help pinpoint the exact location for each speaker and make installation easier.

These are just some basics to think about, but once your construction is underway, we can help you make the right choices.

There’s a lot to consider when shopping for whole-home audio, video, and home network systems.
